Job summary

Horizon Media Inc. in New York seeks a Billing Associate to deliver accurate, timely client billing in accordance with contractual terms and established billing requirements.

You will manage client fees, media invoices, travel and expense charges, and prepare complete billing packages, while partnering with Brand Teams to meet deadlines and provide draft bills and reports. This role requires strong accounting fundamentals, numerical precision, and the ability to prioritize, communicate clearly,

Qualifications

• Foundational understanding of accounting principles.
• Strong mathematical and numerical skills.
• Knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Adobe Acrobat; FreeWheel (Strata/SBMS) and/or Media Ocean (Prisma) experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver accurate, timely client billing in accordance with contractual terms and billing requirements.
• Manage client fees, media invoices, travel and expense charges.
• Prepare and distribute complete client billing packages, including email distribution and uploading invoices to the designated processing platform.
• Notify the Billing Manager of workflow issues or Brand Team requests that deviate from established processes.
• Maintain an up-to-date calendar of billing responsibilities and deadlines.
• Support ad hoc billing requests and special projects as needed.
• Maintain scheduling flexibility to meet client needs and deadlines.
