Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a seasoned Client Finance Manager in Illinois to lead budget management, billing, reporting, and accounts receivable for multiple clients. You will coordinate deliverables across business units and act as the main liaison between the Budget Management Group and clients.

The role requires 4–6 years of related experience, a Bachelor’s in Business/Accounting/Finance, and strong Excel and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, preferably Accounting or Finance.
• 4-6 years related work experience.
• Prior client management experience required.
• Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast paced, client service environment.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and deadlines for multiple stakeholders.
• Intellectual curiosity and excellent problem-solving skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Manage client finance efforts across multiple clients and internal units.
• Own the client finance workflow: budget management, billing, reporting, AR management.
• Plan and coordinate client deliverables across business units for timeliness and quality.
• Serve as liaison between the Budget Management Group, units, and clients.
• Communicate within the agency network and with clients.
• Establish relationships with clients and agency units.
• Attend periodic client and departmental meetings as needed.
