Job summary

The Account Manager IV will serve as the liaison between Amazon and Nidec’s Automation, Drive Technology and Drives Business Units. The role is based in Boston, Massachusetts and will require visiting multiple Amazon facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering required.
• 3+ years of managerial experience required.
• Experience in Warehouse Automation is a plus.
• Experience with electric motors, gearing and electronic drives desired.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct communication from Amazon locations to Nidec.
• Ensure alignment on daily communications regarding programs, projects, and quality.
• Oversee delivery of Amazon engineering projects and initiatives with Amazon contacts.
• Develop and maintain relationships with Amazon personnel for collaboration.
• Collaborate with Amazon and Nidec to gain transparency of programs and strategy.
• Confirm engineering standards and review processes are communicated between Amazon and Nidec.
• Support Nidec Sales, Engineering, and IT on day-to-day activities at Amazon facilities in Boston area.
• Ensure outputs meet performance, reliability, regulatory, and Amazon requirements.
• Work with Amazon and Nidec teams to support product and process improvements across lifecycle.
