Job summary

Deloitte is seeking a Product Forward Deployed Engineer for ConvergeSPORTS to bridge market needs and product development in sports analytics. You will shape data strategy and deliver field insights back into product development while engaging directly with clients.

The role combines hands-on data work with go-to-market support, including discovery, activation, dashboards, and data platform activities, with travel required to engage clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 2+ years of professional experience in data consulting, analytics, delivery, product, or technology implementation.
• 1+ years hands-on experience with data tooling (SQL, a customer data platform, a CRM platform, or a BI tool such as Tableau or Power BI).
• Ability to travel 25%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

Responsibilities

• Support go-to-market materials and client conversations translating ConvergeSPORTS data and digital products into a clear business case.
• Contribute to go-to-market materials such as demo scripts, one-pagers, and case studies that Sales and Product teams reuse across engagements.
• Partner with Product Managers and Market Makers to qualify product fit and help scope delivery engagements.
• Deliver client-facing data work, including data discovery, segmentation, audience definition, and activation support.
• Support customer data platform, identity, and audience workstreams alongside Data Engineering and Data Science partners.
• Document client workflows, data sources, and integration needs, and turn them into requirements the product team can act on.
• Bring field observations back into product development, including gaps, workarounds, and repeated client requests.
• Build dashboards and reporting that make delivery progress and client outcomes visible.
• Support scope, timeline, and issue tracking across active engagements.
