Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred for senior roles.
• CPA or CFA a plus.
• 3+ years in a financial field or 8+ years for VP.
• Experience in commercial/private banking underwriting or credit.
• Strong knowledge of financial accounting, analysis and modeling.
• Excellent communication, both oral and written.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate risk and economic implications of transactions with strong analytical skills.
• Collaborate with Regional Lending Team to meet client needs within risk parameters.
• Develop understanding of Private Lending product suite and ensure underwriting consistency.
• Document loan structure and analysis for credit approval and filing.
• Ensure loan documentation matches terms and appropriate risk ratings.
• Monitor covenants and collateral; maintain credit files properly.
• Interact with regulators as needed and support loan portfolio.
• Communicate with Regional Private Lending teams, Credit Risk, PWM, and GS Bank USA staff.
