Job summary

Newcode.ai seeks a Legal Engineer to serve as the client-facing bridge between customers and Engineering. You will translate legal requirements into scalable, AI-powered workflows and own long-term customer success.

The role requires traveling across the United States and periodic trips to Oslo, partnering with law firms and internal teams to deliver measurable value. The position is on-site in Chicago, with frequent collaboration across Legal, Product, and Customer Success to shape AI-native

Qualifications

Experience practicing at a U.S. law firm.
3–7 years of legal practice experience.
LSAT score at or above the 70th percentile.
Experience from a law firm associate, judicial clerkship, in-house role, KM, or legal operations.
Hands-on experience with AI, such as training users, leading an internal rollout, or building an AI-powered tool.

Responsibilities

Translate customer requirements for the Engineering team while owning client relationships.
Design, build, and refine AI-enabled workflows to solve real legal challenges.
Onboard, run workshops, pilot programs, and establish success metrics with customers.
Partner with Sales to support renewals and identify expansion opportunities.
Gather customer feedback and influence product development based on needs.
