Job summary

Prophet in Austin is seeking an Insights professional to design, build, and interpret market research and analytical models for client engagements. This is a consultant role combining qualitative and quantitative work across project teams.

You will lead end-to-end research planning, analyze data with advanced methods, and present insights to lay audiences. Strong communication, PM skills, and AI-assisted research are valued; location is Austin.

Qualifications

• Degree with strong background in quantitative methods, market research, or behavioral sciences.
• Experience applying quantitative, qualitative, and market research techniques to business problems.
• Proficient in multiple statistical software packages (SPSS, Latent Gold, Stata, R, Python, Sawtooth).
• Proficient knowledge of Excel & PowerPoint.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Strong project management and organization skills.
• Comfort using AI tools to support research and drafting materials.

Responsibilities

• Translate key business questions into qualitative and quantitative research plans.
• Develop end-to-end custom quantitative research including sampling plans and questionnaires.
• Develop and execute analysis plans with methods like segmentation, regression, and modeling.
• Share and interpret outputs and insights with internal teams and clients.
• Iterate and finalize findings into client-ready presentations.
• Manage external market research vendors on fieldwork and data processing.
• Contribute to improved tools, methodologies, and processes across Prophet.
