Job summary

Jobot seeks a Forward Deployed Engineer to act as the bridge between clients and engineering teams, delivering data-enabled software solutions and guiding technical engagements. The role involves partnering with customers to define requirements, design solutions, and drive delivery across cloud-native architectures.

Occasional travel to customer sites is expected. The ideal candidate has strong Python and SQL skills, proven client-facing experience, and the ability to communicate effectively

Qualifications

5+ years of software/engineering experience with external customers or client-facing projects.
Strong communication skills with executives, business leaders, and technical teams.
Experience leading customer discovery sessions and architectural discussions.

Responsibilities

Lead customer-facing engagements to gather requirements and design technical solutions.
Bridge between clients and engineering teams to translate business needs into implementable software.
Deliver cloud-native applications, APIs, data pipelines, or AI-enabled solutions.
Travel to customer sites as needed to support engagements.
