Jobot is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to bridge client needs with engineering teams and deliver data‑driven software solutions at client sites, with occasional travel.

Ideal candidates bring strong customer‑facing experience, 5+ years in software/data/ML engineering, and proficiency in Python and SQL, APIs, data pipelines, and cloud-native technologies. The role offers hybrid work flexibility and direct client impact.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience across Software Engineering, Data Engineering, ML Engineering, Solutions Engineering or Forward Deployed Engineering.
• Demonstrated experience working directly with external customers to define requirements and deliver software.
• Experience leading customer discovery sessions, workshops, architecture discussions, or implementation engagements.

Responsibilities

• Translate customer business needs into technical solutions and deliver software that solves real problems.
• Lead conversations with executives, business leaders, and engineers, maintaining trust and clear communication.
• Balance hands-on coding with advisory work and ensure successful delivery of engagements.
