Job summary

Jobot seeks a Forward Deployed Engineer to bridge client needs and engineering delivery in a data analytics and AI-driven environment. The role requires collaborating with executives, business leaders, and technical teams to translate complex problems into actionable software solutions.

You will partner with clients, gather requirements, and lead technical discussions while delivering cloud-native systems, APIs, and data pipelines. Hybrid work is available with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Software Engineering, Data Engineering, Machine Learning Engineering, Solutions Engineering, or Forward Deployed Engineering.
• Direct experience working with external customers to define requirements and deliver software.
• Experience leading customer discovery sessions, workshops, architecture discussions, or engagements.
• Strong Python and SQL skills.
• Experience building cloud-native applications, APIs, data pipelines, or AI-enabled solutions.
• Familiarity with modern AI technologies, including LLMs, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), AI agents, or agentic workflows is highly desirable.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both executive leadership and technical engineering teams.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites as needed.
