Transformworks is seeking a Forward Deployed AI Engineer to work directly with client executives, operators, and technical teams to turn high‑value business problems into production AI systems. You will own the full journey—from discovery through deployment, adoption, and iteration—and write production code, make architecture choices, and prioritize the right problems with clients.

This role sits at a small company with fast growth.

Qualifications

• 2+ years building software or applied AI systems.
• Strong Python fundamentals and API/cloud experience.
• Hands-on experience with LLMs in professional work or significant independent projects.
• Evidence of shipping production work and evolving it with users.
• Strong product and business judgment.
• Clear communication and client-facing skills.
• High ownership and ability to progress amid ambiguity.

Responsibilities

• Build and deploy AI agents, workflows, data pipelines, integrations, and internal apps.
• Work directly with clients to understand operations and objectives.
• Own technical workstreams from discovery to deployment and iteration.
• Build evaluation, monitoring, and human-review systems for production AI.
• Communicate technical decisions and tradeoffs to engineers and executives.
• Turn client learnings into reusable tools and standards.
