Job summary
Athena, the human-in-the-loop executive assistant platform, seeks a Forward Deployed Engineer to configure and optimize Routines for client workflows, turning insights into reusable templates. You will work with XPs to tailor AI automations and extend integrations, ensuring top-tier reliability and scalability.

Qualifications
- Background in software engineering or technical product role with hands-on AI automation experience.
- Experience using Claude Code, Codex, or Cowork to automate tasks.
- Prior experience as a forward-deployed engineer, solutions engineer, or similar client-embedded role preferred.
- Familiarity with APIs, integrations, and LLM-based agent systems.
- Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering or equivalent work experience.
Responsibilities
- Partner directly with Clients and XPs to configure, test, and troubleshoot Routines against client workflows.
- Help XPs build and polish their own skills for use by the Athena AI agent or templates.
- Customize and extend Routines for real client cases when stock templates don’t fit.
- Curate graduates into templates or client-archetype variants with product and engineering input.
- Strengthen the core Routine set by contributing pre-installed routines and templates.
