Job description

This team member has an eye for detail, can multitask like no other, and works with teams to deliver a high standard of quality and accuracy in all the work. A Client Experience Manager at BarkleyOKRP is a resourceful problem solver who is seeking to learn from every project they touch—whether supporting or leading smaller projects. They desire to understand the steps of advertising and BarkleyOKRP’s approach to whole brands. They take responsibility for key steps by providing day-to-day support, acting seamlessly and accurately, and anticipating needs to deliver quality work on time. This client-facing role requires professional engagement with clients and proactive management of key deliverables. To succeed, they must be flexible, highly organized, and capable of managing multiple tasks supporting different teams and clients. Responsibilities include managing documents, communications, client deliverables, and project delivery, along with proofreading all internal and client-facing documents.

Responsibilities:

CLIENT: Debut of Client relationship building

Exhibit understanding of a fast-paced client’s business and anticipate challenges/solutions
  • Prepare for and attend client meetings and presentations
  • Maintain ongoing, concise, and clear client communications through note-taking, conference reports, emails, slides, and proofing of client presentations
  • Get trained on competitive business tools at BarkleyOKRP to support reports, competitive analysis, and trend reporting for deeper client insights

CREATIVE: Participation in whole brand thinking

Foresee next steps on creative projects, organize the team, and help drive the work
  • Contribute to ideation and share knowledge of the client or industry set during collaborative sessions or reviews
  • Engage in conversations around the Whole Brand concepts (The Red Thread, Brand Map, 5 Signs, True Believer) and the work created for the business
  • Shadow production processes including shoot prep, pre-production, casting, editing, and overall creative production to learn hands-on

COLLABORATION: Excellence in communication and team engagement

Work collaboratively to deliver ideas and ensure quality implementation, including creating creative briefs, internal reviews, proofing, editing, versioning, and file releases
  • Foster a diverse and inclusive environment where team members feel respected and valued
  • Develop and maintain monthly billing trackers, POs, and estimates
  • Ensure accurate and timely trafficking, network clearance, and shipping of creative materials
  • Collaborate with client agency partners and vendors to traffic assets, manage talent tracking, and monitor deliverables
  • Partner with Project Management to oversee timelines, client change requests, and workflow
  • Proactively coordinate legal, talent, and finance reviews as needed

Qualifications:

  • 2 to 3+ years of experience in an advertising agency preferred
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Education or retail experience is a plus
