Job summary

Truist in New Bern, NC seeks a Regular full-time Teller/Client Services specialist to provide timely, accurate banking transactions and build trusted client relationships. You will educate clients on digital tools, assist outbound outreach, and support IRM initiatives while adhering to policies and controls.

The role supports branch teams with sales and service delivery and may involve variable hours. The position requires a high school diploma, 2 years’ teller or client service experience,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• Two years of teller or cash handling or client service experience.
• Six months of client relationship building or sales experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including a desire to interact with clients and prospects.
• Ability to master PC keyboard and software for branch automation.
• Ability to multi-task under time constraints.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office.
• Ability to travel to accommodate temporary staffing needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide a distinctive client experience with courteous conversation and accurate transactions.
• Educate clients on digital and self-service solutions like ATMs and mobile banking.
• Support sales by outbound client outreach and identifying needs or opportunities.
• Understand Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) and deliver tailored Truist solutions.
• Participate in Retail Community Bank Leadership routines and training sessions.
• Maintain compliance with internal controls and policy changes.
• Serve as secondary contact for new account openings and problem resolution.
