Job summary

TD Bank in Seaside Heights, New Jersey is seeking a part-time Customer Service/Teller to support the financial center by delivering accurate, friendly daily banking and guiding clients through transactions. You will serve as the hospitality ambassador, welcoming clients and ensuring a high-touch experience.

Responsibilities include identifying client needs, referring to partners when appropriate, and educating customers on digital tools while upholding TD’s risk and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year demonstrated experience working with clients (volunteering, education, military experience count).
• Teller or cash-handling experience in a client-facing/financial institution preferred.
• Ability to work during operating hours including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Strong organizational skills to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to be concise and clear.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to schedule and prioritize work.
• Ability to work independently and within deadlines.
• Sound judgment in decision making and problem solving.
• Notary license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Orchestrates the overall client experience by managing client flow and serving as the first point of contact for inquiries, issues, and referrals.
• Acts as a hospitality ambassador, delivering consistent, relationship-driven client experiences.
• Creates personalized, client-first interactions that build trust from first engagement.
• Balances client needs with policy adherence and risk awareness to ensure compliant outcomes.
• Educates clients on banking products, services and digital capabilities to enhance convenience and long-term goals.
• Performs a broad range of client transactions within established financial limits.
