Job summary

TD Bank in East Windsor, NJ is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate to deliver everyday banking services, open and maintain consumer accounts, and support clients with accuracy and care.

You will be the hospitality ambassador at the location, handling client inquiries, processing transactions, and referring opportunities to specialists while upholding TD’s risk and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 1+ years of experience working with clients or in a related role.
• Teller or cash-handling experience in a financial institution is preferred.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays as scheduled.
• Strong organization skills to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to be concise and clear.
• Demonstrated effective problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated ability to schedule and prioritize work.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Sound judgment in decision making and problem solving.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Notary License preferred.

Responsibilities

• Orchestrates the overall client experience by managing client flow and serving as the first point of contact for inquiries, issues, and referrals.
• Serves as a hospitality ambassador for the financial center, delivering relationship-driven experiences.
• Creates personalized client interactions to build trust and strengthen ongoing relationships.
• Educates clients on banking products, services, and digital capabilities to enhance convenience and financial well-being.
• Engages clients through proactive outreach, including scheduling appointments for consumer account needs.
• Balances client needs with policy adherence and risk awareness to ensure compliant outcomes.
• Advocates for clients with empathy and integrity, focusing on long-term relationships.
