Job summary

TD Bank in Woodbridge, New Jersey, is seeking a part-time, on-site Customer Service Associate to deliver daily banking with a high-touch client experience. You will help with basic account needs, open/maintain consumer accounts, and refer clients to specialists while upholding TD’s risk and regulatory standards.

You’ll be a hospitality ambassador at the branch, guiding traffic and ensuring a welcoming, accurate service environment for clients, during evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1+ years demonstrated experience working with clients (volunteering, education, military counted).
• Teller or cash-handling experience in a client facing/financial institution preferred.
• Ability to work during operating hours to include evenings, weekends and holidays as scheduled.
• Ability to complete required job-related training upon hire.
• Strong organization skills to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills with ability to be concise, clear and consistent.
• Demonstrated effective problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated ability to schedule and prioritize work.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and within deadlines.
• Sound judgment in decision making and problem solving.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Notary License preferred.

Responsibilities

• Orchestrates the overall client experience by effectively managing client flow (in-person and phone).
• Serves as a hospitality ambassador for the financial center, delivering consistent, relationship-driven client experiences.
• Creates personalized, client-first interactions that build trust from initial engagement and strengthen ongoing relationships.
• Proactively educates clients on banking products, services, and digital capabilities to enhance convenience and financial well-being.
• Engages clients through proactive outreach, including scheduling appointments for consumer account needs and deepening opportunities.
• Balances client needs with sound judgment, policy adherence, and risk awareness to ensure compliant outcomes.
• Advocates for clients by demonstrating empathy, integrity, and a long-term perspective in all interactions.
