Citi in Washington, DC seeks a seasoned Private Banker Support professional to apply deep onboarding knowledge to streamline processes and improve client experiences. You will partner with sales, KYC, and product teams to fulfill client requests and ensure compliant, timely service.

The role emphasizes collaboration, risk assessment, and precise documentation across the onboarding and private client spaces, with opportunities to train peers and influence outcomes.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of relevant experience, preferably in wealth management or financial services.
• Strong analytical and interpersonal skills with ability to manage internal/external relationships.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Applies onboarding expertise to monitor, assess, analyze, and evaluate processes, identify policy gaps, and define business issues.
• Partner with sales and liaise with KYC, Account Opening and product partners to fulfill client requests with strong communication.
• Ensure documentation is current, accurate, and complete and respond promptly to requests.
• Support clients navigating KYC/onboarding and account opening while evaluating moderately complex issues with potential impact.
• Demonstrate subject matter expertise and influence decisions through advice, counsel, and facilitation.
• Assess and escalate risk in decisions, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations and reporting control issues.
