Job summary

Marsh McLennan Agency in Raleigh, NC seeks a Client Executive in Business Insurance to develop relationships with clients, prospects, and carriers. You will advise on risks and provide innovative solutions for complex issues, including Loss Sensitive and Captive programs, guiding marketing, servicing, and retention of larger accounts.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree, 10+ years in insurance, an active P&C license (or within 90 days), and professional designations (CPCU/CIC/ARM/AU).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business or related field.
• 10+ years’ experience in an insurance agency or brokerage environment.
• P&C License or ability to obtain within 90 days.
• CPCU, CIC, ARM, AU designation or equivalent knowledge.
• Experience with Agency Management Systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with clients, prospective clients and carriers.
• Serve as advisor to assess risks and provide solutions.

A day in the life.

As our Client Executive on the Business Insurance team, you'll develop relationships with clients, prospective clients, and carriers. You will serve as an advisor and consultant to clients in order to assess risks and provide innovative solutions to complex risk-related business issues, demonstrating expertise in Loss Sensitive and Captive programs. You will guide the marketing, servicing, and retention of larger accounts, and determine resources needed to support clients and prospects (Claims, Risk Control, Executive & Professional Liability, etc.).

We'd love to meet you if your professional track record includes these skills:

• Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience, in business or related field.
• Minimum Ten (10) years' experience in an insurance agency or brokerage environment
• P & C Insurance License or ability to obtain within 90 days.
• Completed CPCU, CIC, ARM, and/or AU designation or ability to demonstrate equivalent knowledge and ability.
• Experienced in Agency Management Systems
