Job summary

Marsh McLennan Agency is hiring a Client Executive for Business Insurance to build strong client relationships, assess risks and provide tailored coverage solutions. You will work with carriers and internal teams to optimize service, marketing, and retention for larger accounts within a collaborative, client-focused environment.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business or related field.
• 10+ years' experience in an insurance agency or brokerage.
• P&C license or ability to obtain within 90 days.
• CPCU, CIC, ARM, AU designation or equivalent knowledge.
• Experience with agency management systems.
• Advanced Excel competency.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with clients, prospects and carriers.
• Advise and consult to assess risks and provide innovative solutions.
• Guide marketing, servicing and retention of large accounts.
• Determine resources to support clients and prospects (claims, risk control, etc.).

A day in the life.

As our Client Executive on the Business Insurance team, you'll develop relationships with clients, prospective clients, and carriers. You will serve as an advisor and consultant to clients in order to assess risks and provide innovative solutions to complex risk-related business issues, demonstrating expertise in Loss Sensitive and Captive programs. You will guide the marketing, servicing, and retention of larger accounts, and determine resources needed to support clients and prospects (Claims, Risk Control, Executive & Professional Liability, etc.).

We'd love to meet you if your professional track record includes these skills:

• Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience, in business or related field.
• Minimum ten (10) years' experience in an insurance agency or brokerage environment
• P & C Insurance License or ability to obtain within 90 days.
• Completed CPCU, CIC, ARM, and/or AU designation or ability to demonstrate equivalent knowledge and ability..

These additional qualifications are a plus, but not required to apply:

• Experience in agency management systems
• Advanced Excel Competency
