Job summary

Brown & Brown is seeking a senior Insurance Account leader to manage client risk and insurance programs from inception to renewal in a collaborative team environment.

You will analyze loss exposures, interpret actuarial insights for program structure, and lead strategic efforts with clients while developing strong relationships and contributing to new business opportunities. This role requires license eligibility and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Risk Management or related field.
  • Experience with licenses and state broker requirements.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Ability to lead/command client and/or market discussions.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day processes in all aspects of the client’s insurance program cycle.
  • Analyze client losses and determine coverage needs.
  • Lead strategic insurance program efforts with the client.
  • Develop and maintain client relationships and assist in new business prospecting.
  • Generate documents and proposals for new and renewal business.
  • Maintain confidentiality and follow company policies.

Develop strong relationships with clients and a solid understanding of client risk exposuresEssential Duties and Functions: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Oversee day-to-day processes in all aspects of client's insurance program cycle.Analyze client’s loss exposures and determine coverage needs.Interpret and utilize clients' actuarial to benefit the insurance program structure.Lead strategic insurance program efforts in conjunction with the client.Develop and maintain relationships with clients and assist in new business prospecting.Keep current on marketplace changes and inform clients as necessary.Generate documents and produce correspondence, including insurance summaries, schedules, and proposals for new and renewal business.Ensure proper utilization of product group resources to benefit the client (actuarial, claims, loss control, etc.)Attend required training sessions, courses, etc., to develop and maintain up-to-date skills and product knowledge.Maintain an appropriate level of confidentiality regarding the information processed.Follow all company policies and procedures.Maintain appropriate state broker license.Qualifications:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
