Job summary

Citi in Getzville, NY is seeking a First Line Client Specialist to support the client and sales lifecycle, remove administrative burdens, and act as escalation point for issues. You will collaborate with sales, client executives, and clients to ensure accurate onboarding and smooth operations.

This role focuses on cross‑product solutions, improving STP, reducing manual tasks, and strengthening control environments while enabling sales to focus on client engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) required.
• 1+ years of experience in Capital Markets or in Operations, Risk, Client On‑boarding, Middle Office or,
• Understanding of Markets Products or Financial Degree
• Some experience working in a financial organization may help

Responsibilities

• Work closely with salespeople, client executives, and clients to support all aspects of the client and sales lifecycle.
• Improve ease of doing business for clients by providing cross product solutions to recurring issues.
• Remove the administrative burden from sales enabling the salesforce to focus on true value add and client engagement.
• Proactively mitigate client impact while enhancing the client experience, ensuring onboarding is accurate and right first time.
• Lead end-to-end onboarding and maintenance of high-value clients, prioritizing and setting up accounts in a timely fashion.
• Diagnose root causes, identify tactical and strategic solutions, and own delivery.
