Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent or currently attending high school.
• Six months of retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Pass background investigation.
• Ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service, handling cash receipts and payments in a high-volume sales environment.
• Evaluate customer relationships and recommend bank products and services to support financial success.
• Follow policies in accordance with bank and supervisor directions.
• Strive for monthly new account production as directed by upper management.
• Participate in in-store aisle prospecting within a sales-driven environment.
• Process deposits and pay out funds, recording transactions and balancing daily operations.
• Receive cash and checks for deposits, verify amounts, and check endorsements.
• Examine cash to guard against counterfeit checks and IDs.
• Enter transactions into computer and issue receipts.
• Sell and prepare money orders, cashier's checks, wires, and CDs.
• Process Western Union wires and cash advances.
• Cross-sell bank services to a diverse customer base, including Spanish speakers.
• Provide bank services to a diverse customer base, including a large Spanish-speaking population.
• Perform other tasks as requested by supervisors and ensure regular attendance.
