Job summary

Black & Veatch is seeking a Client Director in Nashville to lead medium to large EPC/service projects, ensuring cost, schedule, quality, and safety targets are met. The role includes staffing, client engagement, and cross‑functional leadership of engineering, procurement, construction, and startup activities.

The position emphasizes collaboration across the Governments & Communities team with a strong focus on delivering infrastructure solutions and maintaining contractual compliance and safety

Qualifications

• 15+ years of active water/wastewater experience with leadership.
• Professional Engineering License; Bachelor’s Degree in technical discipline.
• Understanding of budgets and financial metrics.
• Contract negotiation skills including knowledge of terms, risks, pricing and payment terms.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of medium to large EPC/Service projects, including risk to cost, schedule, quality.
• Staff the project successfully and lead multi‑discipline teams.
• Coordinate and integrate engineering, procurement, construction, and startup activities.
