Job summary

General Stamping & Metalworks in South Bend, IN is seeking a Client Development Specialist to strengthen sales support and customer interactions. You will manage orders, RFQs, and data analysis to improve our sales pipeline while coordinating onboarding and on-site visits.

The role requires 2+ years in customer service with leadership experience, plus proficiency in ERP, CRM, and estimating tools. A focus on accuracy and confidentiality is essential in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years in a customer service role with leadership or mentorship experience.
• Strong attention to detail and results-driven mindset.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and represent GSM with integrity.
• Knowledge and proficiency with ERP, CRM, and Estimating Software.

Responsibilities

• Enter customer orders and releases with correct price and due date.
• Upload forecasts, create reports, and analyze data for Sales Pipeline.
• Process RFQs and perform beginner-level estimates using defined tools.
• Monitor customer portals for RFQs, engineering changes, and compliance data.
• Respond to daily inquiries and support meetings, reviews, and cases.
• Contribute to defined processes and continuous improvement projects.
• Coordinate and host customer on-site visits and onboarding.
• Optimize CRM for timely responses and data accuracy.
