Job summary

AMFM Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Mental Health Technician (Client Coordinator) in Carlsbad, CA to support clients on their recovery journey. This full-time role offers direct client interaction, transport and safety duties, and collaboration with clinical teams to ensure quality care.

You will assist with daily activities, monitor behavior, help with medication administration, and facilitate group sessions in a compassionate, mission-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Background check: Must pass ADP Selective Screening Services and any additional required background checks.
• Valid Driver’s License with car insurance eligibility (min. 23 years old, 4+ years licensed, no driving infractions in last 4 years).
• Physical requirements: able to sit/stand for long periods, lift up to 20 lbs, navigate stairs.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support to clients and maintain a structured, supportive environment.
• Safely transport clients to activities and medical appointments.
• Monitor client behavior, document observations, and collaborate with clinical teams.
• Assist nursing staff with medication self-administration under supervision.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization within residential facilities.
• Lead and document recovery-focused group activities.
• Respond to emergencies following safety protocols.
