Job summary

Talbots in Novi, MI is seeking a friendly associate to deliver exceptional service and build lasting relationships with our customers. You will drive sales through personalized clienteling and fashion guidance, while representing the Talbots brand with integrity and warmth.

You will engage with shoppers on the shop floor, stay updated on product trends, and participate in store activities that promote our modern classic collection. Flexible scheduling includes evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates excellent written and verbal communication with customers.
• Proven ability to build relationships and drive sales in a team setting.
• Interest in fashion and delivering quality customer experiences.
• Able to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Create and foster a culture of hospitality through exceptional customer experiences and build enduring relationships.
• Support all service enhancers to build strong relationships including active use of Concierge.
• Achieve sales and service metrics in key measurable areas including: Clientelling/Outreach, Appointment Setting, Talbots Classic Awards etc.
• Plan and prioritize tasks and responsibilities to meet the needs of the customer and business.
• Seek to understand customer needs & wants with curiosity and confidence through intentional conversation.
• Share current products and fashion trends with customers to appropriately wardrobe, inspire and build trust.
• Actively participate in community/store activities and events that promote the Talbots Brand.
