Job summary

Truist is seeking a Universal Banker to deliver a distinctive client experience and handle a range of teller transactions, while educating clients on digital banking options. The role supports sales outreach and IRM initiatives within a Retail Community Bank setting.

Regular hours in a 1st shift, with potential for extended hours and travel as needed. Strong communication and multi-tasking abilities are essential to excel in this position.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years teller/cash handling or client service experience.
• Six months of client relationship building or sales experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to master PC keyboard and software for branch automation.
• Ability to multi-task under time constraints.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications (Microsoft Office).
• Willingness to travel for temporary staffing or locale changes.
• Weekend and/or extended hours with possible travel/overnights.

Responsibilities

• Provide a distinctive client experience with accurate, courteous transactions and needs-based service.
• Educate clients on digital, self-service solutions (ATMs, Online/Mobile banking).
• Support sales through outbound calls and referrals to branch team members or specialists.
• Understand Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) to deliver Truist solutions.
• Participate in Retail Community Bank Leadership routines and training.
• Advance product knowledge through meetings and web-based learning.
• Adhere to internal controls and risk management policies and changes.
• Serve as secondary contact for new account openings and issue resolution.
