Job summary

HNTB is seeking a Project Director to serve as the DelDOT Client Service Leader and to manage mega and super mega projects with a focus on delivering value, fostering client satisfaction, and growing revenue. The role involves contracting, controls, quality, risk management and using SDA delivery methods across multiple projects.

The candidate will lead cross-functional teams, mentor staff, and coordinate with senior leaders to staff projects and pursue additional opportunities with key clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; 12 years of relevant experience including 4 years delivering mega/super mega projects.
• Master’s degree and PE and PMP certifications preferred.
• Experience with DelDOT or related client organizations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops and nurtures key client relationships and acts as primary company contact on assigned projects.
• Oversees financial performance, cash, budget, schedule, and project scope to meet goals.
• Staffing: recruits, hires, develops, retains, and evaluates project staff and plan reporting.
• Collaborates with leadership to solve challenges and meet business objectives.
• Leads the pursuit of mega projects and presentations to clients and industry.
