Job summary

1st Source Corporation is seeking a Full-Time Retail Teller in Michigan City, IN to provide personalized client service, process daily transactions, and resolve inquiries in line with bank policies.

The role requires 1+ year of customer/retail service, cash handling experience, and the ability to promote products while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality. Evening/weekend shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• One (1) or more years of customer or retail service experience preferred.
• Cash handling experience preferred.
• Ability to respond and assist clients with inquiries and/or problem resolution.
• Customer service and sales oriented.
• Careful attention to detail and time management.
• Good listening and verbal and communication skills.
• Good PC skills - Windows based system.
• Ability to cross-sell bank products and services.
• Evenings and weekends availability based on banking center needs.
• Ability to work in a team atmosphere.

• Processes financial transactions for clients accurately and efficiently.
• Identifies client needs and promotes products/services, referring to the appropriate colleague as needed.
• Builds client loyalty and establishes relationships, addressing clients by name.
• Delivers exceptional customer service to all clients.
• Follows Bank policies, procedures, and guidelines.
• Participates in retail sales programs to meet goals.
• Attends team meetings and community/educational activities related to the position.
• Balances cash drawer and assists with ATM, vault, and end-of-day tasks.
• Maintains regular and predictable attendance; completes required compliance training.
