Job summary

JP Morgan Chase is seeking a Relationship Banker in our New York branch to represent the brand with hospitality, leverage banking solutions, and build meaningful client relationships. You will acquire, manage, and retain clients, using financial knowledge to tailor solutions and support their financial needs.

The role requires 1+ year of sales experience in retail banking, strong communication skills, and the ability to work flexible branch hours including weekends.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of sales experience in Retail Banking or Financial Services.
• Excellent communication skills, in person and on the phone.
• Ability to resolve client issues with attention to detail.
• Operate within risk parameters and complete required training.
• High school diploma or GED.
• SIE, FINRA Series 6, state registration (63 if required) and Life licenses are minimum.
• Ability to work branch hours including weekends and some evenings.

Responsibilities

• Put clients first and deliver attentive, friendly service in a welcoming environment.
• Manage assigned clients and meet with them to build lasting relationships and tailor recommendations.
• Engage in clear, consultative communication to understand client needs and build trust.
• Educate clients on technology solutions (Chase Mobile App, Chase.com, ATMs).
• Learn products, services, and procedures to consult on banking solutions and connect clients to specialists.
• Adhere to policies, procedures, and regulatory banking requirements.
