Job summary

Midwest BankCentre is seeking a customer-focused teller/banking associate to engage with customers, promote products, and support branch goals. The role requires handling deposits, withdrawals, and account maintenance while guiding customers through digital banking solutions.

The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma or equivalent, at least two years of bank customer contact or retail sales experience, and strong communication skills. Weekend/evening flexibility is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; two years bank customer contact or retail sales experience preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Technologically savvy with ability to learn new systems and software.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and accuracy.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team; flexible to weekends/evenings.

Responsibilities

• Promote products and services based on customers' needs and provide consultative advice; assist with account openings and maintenances.
• Support digital banking usage and assist with online/mobile banking setup, logins, and password resets.
• Handle teller transactions including deposits, withdrawals, and payments; balance cash drawers and reconcile discrepancies.
• Handle inbound/outbound calls to build relationships and identify opportunities; recommend next-best products.
• Refer customers to banking partners to meet all financial needs within Midwest BankCentre.
• Assist team in achieving branch goals through sales, service and product training participation.
• Understand and adhere to federal banking regulations including BSA, USA Patriot Act, AML; follow Notary/Public requirements.
