Job summary

KeyBank is seeking a Personal Banker to engage clients in conversations, uncover financial wellness needs, and guide them toward appropriate solutions at multiple area branches including Columbus and surrounding areas. You will develop new client relationships and deepen existing ones while providing exceptional service and guidance.

This role emphasizes sales-driven results, collaboration with branch teammates, and the ability to work both in-person and via proactive calling efforts.

Qualifications

• 1+ years experience developing current and new customer relationships and achieving sales goals.
• Understanding of consumer credit metrics including loan-to-value, debt-to-income and credit reports.
• Foundational knowledge of sales and service techniques with clients including tele-consulting and networking.
• Experience influencing business partners and leveraging centers of influence.
• Working knowledge of PCs and digital platforms within Key.
• Good communication and relationship-building abilities.

Responsibilities

• Engage clients in conversations to identify financial wellness opportunities.
• Open personal and small business accounts and promote deposit products.
• Develop strong partnerships with branch teammates and business partners.
• Ensure compliance with operational, risk, security and audit procedures.
• Support branch operations including client transactions on Teller line.
• Participate in morning huddles and end-of-day debriefs; may work Saturdays.
