Job summary

Right at Home West LA is seeking a Home Care Scheduler / Client Care Coordinator in Santa Monica, CA. This on-site role ensures client shifts are accurately scheduled and staffed using WellSky, while coordinating client care plans and supporting HR activities.

The ideal candidate has 6+ months of staff scheduling experience in home care or LTC, plus 1+ year of office/customer service work; CNA preferred. Benefits include PTO, 401(k) matching, and annual performance bonus.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of staff scheduling experience within a Home Care Organization or LTC.
• 1+ year in general office/customer service; 6+ months caregiving; CNA preferred.
• Familiarity with WellSky or similar scheduling software; intermediate MS Office skills.
• High School Diploma/GED required; Bachelor’s preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with insured vehicle; TB test; CPR cert (or willingness to obtain within 1 week).
• CA Home Care Aide licensing can be obtained post-hire.

Responsibilities

• Schedule caregivers to client shifts in WellSky; update client data and manage changes.
• Perform intake assessments and update care plans to ensure service accuracy.
• Serve as point of contact for caregivers; provide coaching and address employee relations.
• Maintain ongoing communication with families to monitor satisfaction.
• Verify clock-ins/outs and update records for payroll and billing.
• Assist with caregiver recruitment, onboarding, and orientations.
• Step in as backup caregiver during staffing emergencies (up to 30% of time).
