Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a Relationship Banker to build and maintain client relationships by meeting face to face and offering tailored financial solutions. You’ll educate clients on deposits, loans, digital options and self-service tools, while opening accounts and processing basic transactions.

The role emphasizes proactive outreach, strong communication, and collaboration with branch teammates to deliver excellent service and a digital-first client experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Typically has less than four years of retail banking experience or related training.
• Proven ability to build and foster relationships with clients.
• Ability to engage and communicate with clients.
• Thorough knowledge of bank policies, procedures and support systems.
• Experience with digital products and self-service technologies.
• Experience in financial services preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build and foster client relationships through proactive outreach and follow-up.
• Identify solutions for new and existing clients based on their needs.
• Maintain knowledge of consumer and business banking products and services including digital offerings.
• Provide a consistent optimal client experience, greeting clients and processing basic transactions.
• Develop collaborative partnerships with branch team members to serve clients.
• Open new consumer and business accounts and submit credit applications.
• Educate clients on emerging and self-service digital products and services.
• Leverage resources to optimize client experience and accuracy.
