Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a Relationship Banker to build and foster client relationships by meeting face to face and engaging customers to provide tailored financial guidance.

The role involves understanding banking needs, educating clients on deposits and loans, and opening/closing accounts within a branch environment. Responsibilities include identifying client solutions, promoting digital self-service tools, and collaborating with branch teams to deliver excellent service and accurate processing

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Typically 5+ years of job-related, retail banking experience or a combination of experience and commensurate training.
• Proven ability to build and foster relationships with clients through proactive outreach and follow up.
• Advanced knowledge of applicable bank and branch policies, procedures and support systems.
• Thorough knowledge of all retail products and services.

Responsibilities

• Builds and fosters relationships with clients through proactive outreach and follow up.
• Identifies solutions for new and existing clients based on their needs by effectively engaging and communicating with clients.
• Maintains a working knowledge of consumer and business banking products and services including digital products and services.
• Provides a consistent optimal client experience, including greeting clients and processing basic transactions.
• Develops collaborative partnerships with branch team members and partners to best serve clients.
• Opens new consumer and business accounts, completes service requests and submits credit applications.
