Job summary

Columbia Bank in Reno, NV is hiring a Relationship Banker to develop and maintain client relationships and offer tailored financial solutions. The role focuses on opening deposits, originating consumer loans, and building a loan and deposit portfolio while educating customers on Treasury Management and digital banking options.

You will conduct outbound calls, participate in community events, and collaborate with Bank partners to meet sales goals and deliver Breakthrough Client Service Standards.

Qualifications

• 2 years of banking and/or demonstrated sales experience required.
• 2 years developing current and new client relationships, achieving sales goals, and building referral sources in banking or retail environment with client service and cash handling experience required.
• 2 years in a lending function with loan origination and processing functions required.
• Knowledge of Consumer and Business products and services; proficiency in consumer and business lending.

Responsibilities

• Build meaningful, long-term client relationships and provide customized financial solutions.
• Open new deposit accounts and originate consumer loans; maintain loan and deposit portfolios.
• Educate customers about services offered by internal partners (e.g., Treasury Management).
• Perform outbound calls to current and prospective customers; assist in community business development meetings.
