Job summary

TD Bank is seeking a client service professional for our Ocean Township, New Jersey location. You will be the hospitality ambassador, guiding clients through daily transactions with accuracy and care to help them achieve their financial goals.

The role emphasizes relationship building, product education, and compliance within a risk-aware culture. Evening, weekend, and holiday shifts may be required with growth opportunities within TD.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year demonstrated experience working with clients.
• Teller or cash-handling experience in a client facing/financial institution preferred.
• Ability to work during operating hours to include evenings, weekends and holidays as scheduled.
• Strong organization skills to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills with ability to be concise, clear and consistent.
• Demonstrated effective problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated ability to schedule and prioritize work.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and within deadlines.
• Sound judgment in decision making and problem solving.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Notary License preferred.

Responsibilities

• Orchestrates the overall client experience by effectively managing client flow (in-person and phone).
• Serves as a hospitality ambassador for the financial center, delivering consistent, relationship-driven client experiences.
• Creates personalized, client-first interactions that establish trust from the initial engagement.
• Balances client needs with sound judgment, policy adherence, and risk awareness to ensure compliant and responsible outcomes.
• Proactively educates clients on banking products, services, and digital capabilities to enhance convenience, save time, and support financial well-being.
• Advocates for clients by demonstrating empathy, integrity, and a long-term perspective in all interactions.
