Job summary

Virtual Partner Advantage is hiring an Accounts Payable Accountant to ensure AP accuracy, manage cash protection, and support clients with timely, clear communication. This role blends AP expertise, accounting skills, and leadership behaviors in a close-knit team environment.

You’ll work onsite in Marksville or Alexandria, LA, bringing 2+ years of AP experience, strong Excel, and a proactive, detail-oriented mindset to improve processes and client service.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of AP or accounting experience.
• Strong Excel skills and comfort with new systems.
• High attention to detail and dependable follow-through.

Responsibilities

• Process PO and non-PO invoices and code/enter accurately.
• Prepare and execute checks, ACHs, and wires.
• Reconcile AP ledgers and vendor statements; research discrepancies.
• Maintain vendor master files; safeguard client cash.
• Communicate clearly with clients and vendors; support month-end close with AP reports and analyses.
• Offer process improvement recommendations; take ownership end-to-end.
