Job summary

Mercer Advisors is seeking an Operations Assistant I to provide administrative and operational support to the brokerage operations team, servicing client accounts and fulfilling operational requests with accuracy and timeliness.

You will learn brokerage processes, systems, and compliance requirements while contributing to day-to-day operations and client service in a collaborative, professional office setting.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 1–2 years of office experience; financial services background preferred.
• Strong attention to detail with client focus in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; collaborative mindset.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day operational and administrative support.
• Process routine transactions such as account updates and maintenance.
• Complete paperwork for client onboarding.
• Maintain data integrity across systems (Junxure, Laserfiche, Aspen).
• Assist with onboarding and account setup.
• Support account transfers and lifecycle events.
• Respond to internal requests and escalate complex issues.
• Partner with team members to complete requests.
• Follow established workflows and procedures.
• Field inbound client calls.
• Assist with general administrative tasks.
• Participate in training and development.
