Job summary

Mercer Advisors in Springfield, MO, seeks an Operations Assistant I to provide administrative and operational support to the brokerage operations team, handling routine tasks with accuracy while learning processes and compliance requirements.

You will process client onboarding, maintain data across Junxure, Laserfiche, and Aspen, and assist with transfers while supporting internal partners and clients in a collaborative office setting.

Qualifications

• Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment while maintaining client focus and attention to detail.
• Strong client service orientation with a collaborative approach.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); familiarity with CRM systems like Junxure is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day operational and administrative support
• Process routine transactions such as account updates and maintenance
• Complete paperwork for client onboarding
• Maintain data integrity across systems (Junxure, Laserfiche, Aspen)
• Assist with onboarding and account setup
• Support account transfers and lifecycle events
• Respond to internal requests and escalated complex issues
• Partner with team members to complete requests
• Follow established workflows and procedures
• Field inbound client calls
• Provide front desk coverage
• Assist with general administrative tasks
• Participate in training and development
