Job summary

Mercer Advisors is seeking a Service Operations Associate I to support the Client Service department with administrative and transactional tasks. You will work from a centralized queue to ensure timely processing of paperwork, money movements, account maintenance, and custodial interactions.

Role complements Relationship Managers by handling behind-the-scenes execution, maintaining compliance, and ensuring a consistent client experience. Career path to higher levels is outlined.

Qualifications

• High School diploma; Bachelor’s degree highly preferred.
• Two to four years of job related experience in financial services.
• Notary designation a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process client paperwork, forms, and documentation with accuracy and efficiency.
• Execute money movement requests (wires, ACH, journal entries) per policy.
• Monitor and manage service requests in a centralized queue; escalate when needed.
• Maintain detailed transaction records in the CRM and custodial platforms.
• Liaise with custodians and platforms to resolve issues and facilitate transactions.
• Collaborate with Relationship Managers to support client service delivery.
• Assist in documenting and refining SOPs and training of new staff.
