Job summary

LJB CPA is seeking a Client Accounting Services Manager in Dallas to lead the client accounting services team and oversee day-to-day operations, while delivering deeper financial insight and strategic guidance to clients.

You will mentor junior accountants, maintain strong client relationships, and drive process improvements to enhance accuracy and service delivery. CPA/CMA preferred; Bachelor’s in accounting or finance required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred.
• Extensive experience in client accounting services with a proven track record of managing teams and delivering exceptional client service.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
• Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities and experience in coaching and developing teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the client accounting services department, overseeing day-to-day operations and ensuring efficient workflow.
• Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, acting as their primary contact for accounting needs.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their financial objectives and tailor services to meet their requirements.
• Monitor and analyze financial data, providing insights to enhance client performance and goals.
• Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations; maintain accurate records and reports.
• Mentor and develop team members, fostering continuous professional growth.
• Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and service delivery.
• Prepare and present financial reports and strategic recommendations to clients and senior management.
• Stay updated on industry trends, regulations and best practices.
