Job summary

SmartRecruiters, Inc. is seeking an organized accounting professional to maintain client books using QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online.

Under general supervision, you will input data, reconcile accounts, and assist the CFO with custom business reports and banking tasks. You will coordinate multiple client files, process vendor bills, record deposits, reconcile credit card statements, track inventory, and generate reports.

Qualifications

• Accounting degree or equivalent work experience.
• 3–5 years of hands-on QuickBooks experience.
• QuickBooks certifications are a plus but not required.
• Ability to work with numerical data and maintain accuracy.
• Knowledge of double-entry bookkeeping is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Organize client files and manage schedules for multiple clients.
• Process vendor bills, data entry in QuickBooks, and payables.
• Record deposits and match to invoices; maintain client files.
• Track inventory and data entry of production activities.
• Reconcile credit card transactions across clients.
• Create and customize QuickBooks reports.
• Maintain time-tracking records if applicable.
• Make journal entries and other bookkeeping tasks.
• Provide administrative support such as mailings and reception.
