Job summary

Colorado Railroad Museum is seeking a Client Accounting Services Manager to oversee accounting for multiple clients from our Billings, MT office. This role serves as the primary contact for day-to-day accounting, ensuring accurate bank activity, reconciliations, journal entries, and timely month-end close with client-facing reporting.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in accounting and 5+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience, with CPA/CMA status preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience required.
• Proficient communication and ability to manage client relationships.
• Ability to work on multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manages client relationships and monitors client needs.
• Acts as main contact for day-to-day accounting matters for clients.
• Reviews bank activity, reconciliations, and month-end entries for clients.
• Provides analyses of GL accounts and communicates month-end results.
• Ensures timely completion of month-end process and reports required by clients.
• Mentors staff in the Client Accounting Services department.
• Performs client billings and helps streamline processes.
• Identifies opportunities to cross-sell services and participates in business development.
