Job summary

CVS Health in the United States is seeking an accounting-focused professional to perform a broad range of operational and financial tasks supporting revenue and claim data. You will gather, analyze, balance and reconcile information, resolve system issues, and report results to the supervisor to support the unit's operating plan.

The role requires at least one year of related experience or coursework, strong Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP), and proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite.

Position Summary

Performs a broad range tasks and assignments of operational/financial activities in support of revenue or claim information.

Performs general data gathering and analysis in support of assigned operational accounting discipline.

Balances and reconciles financial information. Analyzes and resolves system error conditions within established unit time frames.

Reports inventory and business activity results to unit supervisor in support of unit’s operating plan.

Applies understanding of technical policies and procedures of own unit in the performance of specific job functions.

Administers business procedures ensuring compliance requirements are satisfied.

Maintains effective collaborative relationship with customers and internal business partners to maintain a high performance culture. Uses existing procedures to solve routine problems.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of one year recent and related accounting, banking, and/or expense processing experience or coursework in accounting .

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams).

• Expertise in Microsoft Excel (i.e.: Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, large multiple data files, etc.).

• Uses knowledge/experience to solve complex problems; takes a new perspective on existing solutions.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.

• Basic analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work effectively with others and provide professional customer service.

• Basic math skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

• Medium to advanced Excel skills

• Auditing experience a plus

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$18.50 - $35.29

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
