Position Summary

Reporting to the Manager of Accounting, Pharmacy Services Controllers Group, the Senior Analyst, Accounting will support accounting and financial reporting for CVS performance commitments. This role is responsible for performing monthly accounting processes, ensuring accurate and timely recording of financial transactions, preparing financial analyses, and maintaining the integrity of financial data.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in accurate and timely month‑end and year‑end close processes by analyzing general ledger activity, preparing and posting journal entries, and completing account reconciliations related to performance commitments.
• Perform variance analysis and data validation, investigate discrepancies, and respond to ad‑hoc requests.
• Support Prepare supporting documentation and respond to requests from internal and external auditors for financial statement and internal control audits.

Required Qualifications

• Two or more years of experience in corporate or public accounting

• Strong planning, execution, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills
• Ability to work independently with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• Strong collaboration skills, including the ability to work effectively across functions in a large organization
• Strong oral and written communication skills

• Strong Excel skills and experience with SAP

Education

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is: $46,988.00 - $112,200.00 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short‑term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
