Job summary

Savills Limited is seeking a Client Accountant to manage client monies held for investors in property portfolios, overseeing rents, service charges, deposits, VAT and related cash activity. You’ll ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance across the portfolio as part of a collaborative team.

Experience with MRI and client systems is beneficial, and Part-ACCA or QBE is welcomed. This role emphasizes meticulous financial control and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Experience handling client funds across property portfolios.
• Knowledge of rents, service charges, deposits and VAT.
• Part-ACCA or QBE is welcomed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all cash transactions for client portfolios.
• Reconcile cash, deposits and VAT ensuring accuracy.
• Support financial reporting with timely, compliant data.

The primary function of this role is to manage the finances of client monies held on behalf of investors to support the management of a property portfolio. The Client Accountant has ultimate responsibility for all cash held within their assigned portfolio, including rents, service charges, sinking funds, deposits, VAT, and other financial transactions.
