Job summary

UNC Chapel Hill seeks an experienced professional to lead its Clery Compliance program. The Clery Compliance Coordinator will guide campus-wide Clery activities, coordinate with UNC Police, HR and other units, and ensure accurate reporting under the Jeanne Clery Campus Safety Act.

The role involves developing policies, annual reporting, training, data governance, and collaboration with departments to uphold Clery obligations across the campus.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to apply Clery Act requirements to data analysis, reporting, and recordkeeping.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Excellent computer skills; familiarity with Microsoft Office suite and databases.

Responsibilities

• Lead UNC's Clery compliance program across campus and coordinate with key units.
• Develop policies, procedures, and training to ensure Clery Act compliance.
• Oversee annual security and fire reports and other required disclosures.
• Coordinate with UNC Police RMS for accurate crime classification and reporting.
• Collaborate with HR, Title IX, Dean of Students, Housing, and other offices on compliance activities.
