Job summary

Monogram Foods is seeking an Experienced Warehouse Clerk in Bristol, IN. The role verifies and records incoming and outgoing shipments, maintaining daily logs and ensuring FEFO accuracy using Excel. The position requires cross-training across office areas and a strong focus on safety and GMP compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Compare and verify incoming/outgoing shipments against bills of lading and orders.
  • Schedule receiving appointments.
  • Inspect receiving paperwork for required information.
  • Print shipping pick lists in Excel and verify inventory for FEFO accuracy.
  • Route paperwork to department personnel.
  • Verify inbound/outbound paperwork before entering data.
  • Print BOLs and apply seal numbers and signatures.
  • Maintain organized load paperwork for scanning in D365.
  • Keep shipping/receiving compliance logs.
  • Cross-train in all office areas to maintain efficiency.
  • Promote a safe work environment through training.
  • Suggest improvements to increase department efficiency.
  • Ensure SOPs, GMPs followed; safety first.
  • Report unsafe conditions to management.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Salary Range: $23.00 Hourly

Position Summary

The Warehouse Clerk is responsible for verifying and keeping records on incoming and outgoing shipments and completing them daily.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Compares identifying information and counts, and weights against all incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, orders, or other records.
  • Schedules receiving appointments.
  • Examines incoming Receiving paperwork for required information, (I.E. code dates, mfg dates, etc.).
  • Prints out shipping pick lists using Excel sheets and verify inventory in the system first for complete FEFO accuracy.
  • Routes paperwork to department personnel.
  • Double checks all inbound and outbound paperwork for accuracy before keying information into the system. This includes making sure all pick list, trailer map sheets, are turned in with every load.
  • Prints out all BOL’s for outbound shipment and applies the seal number and signature with every load.
  • Maintains all paperwork in a neat organized manner to include all load paperwork together to be scanned into D365 when processing has been completed.
  • Maintains both shipping and receiving compliance logs daily for accuracy.
  • Must cross train in all areas of the office to keep it as efficient and responsive to our customer needs as possible.
  • Promotes a safe work environment through training and implementation.
  • Suggest changes in the working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of department or team.
  • Ensures that all work activities are performed with attention to the highest standards for quality, safety, and compliance with all appropriate legal and food safety requirements and a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Ensures that all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) are followed.
  • Follows all company policies & procedures as well as the GMP’s (Good Manufacturing Practices).
  • Maintains a high level of safety awareness for an accident-free work place.
  • Reports any unsafe or hazardous work conditions or safety related issues to Management.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.
QualificationsKnowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Computer: Should understand general workings of a PC and be able to utilize Word and Excel programs.
